Small EnsemblesAt the discretion of the director and students, it is highly likely that other small ensembles, such as percussion ensembles, brass quintets, woodwind quartets, jazz ensembles, etc., will form throughout the year. These will generally be formed for specific events, but students are encouraged to maintain their groups for as long as they like. The study of chamber music is important to any music program and is highly supported in the Sidney Bands. Rehearsal time will generally be limited to before or after school. Any student interested in forming or playing in a chamber ensemble should speak with Miss Spangle. |
