CA-10 This is a full year course designed to present readings from classical literature based upon ancient Greek and Roman mythology. Reading, writing, speaking and listening activities will center around non-fiction, poetry, and drama. Students will write paragraphs and essays, give classroom presentations, and prepare major projects based on mythology and career choices. Students will practice grammar and mechanics daily. They will strengthen their vocabulary and spelling skills through the study of words from the readings. |
Senior English Senior English is a full year English course which substitutes for Communication Arts 12. Emphasis is on usage, lifetime skills, writing and literature. In order to be in this course, a student must have the recommendation of the English Department. Since Senior English substitutes for required courses, passing grades are required for graduation.

Study Skills This is a Freshmen level course designed to help students in their transition to high school. Students are recommended for this class with the understanding that all learners progress through school, achieving academic success at different rates. Ultimately, the goal of this course is to help students new to high school meet with success throughout their high school career. The class will be limited to 25 students.
