38th Week, Semester 2

May 12 - 17, 2008

 

The Student Bank will be closing on Friday, May 16th.  Please make your final deposits and let your money grow over the summer.  Seniors, please make your final withdrawals this week and thanks for saving with the Student Bank!

 

Semester tests for seniors will be held on Wednesday and Thursday in the high school cafeteria.  See those days for the schedule of tests.

 

Monday, May 12

 

The AP Biology test will be given at 8:00 a.m. in the library.

 

Seniors will receive their checkout forms during 1st period.  Get all teacher signatures BEFORE you get the office signature.  Lockers need to be cleaned and washed out by 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and a teacher or an administrator must sign off on your checkout sheet that your locker is clean.  Checkout sheets are due in the office by noon on Friday, earlier if possible.  Diplomas will be held if you do not take care of your obligations including your locker.  Please take care of all your “stuff” on Wednesday and Thursday if possible and remember to turn in your checkout sheet to the office with all signatures on it.

 

The AR Café ice cream party will be in the library during Channel I.  Invitations will be sent and only those with invitations can attend.

 

Teachers, 4th quarter grades must be posted to the office by noon today.  The PEC list will be generated and e-mailed to you this afternoon and PEC slips will be delivered to you for distribution to your 7th period students who are on the list.

The May School Board meeting is at 7:00 p.m. at Central.

 

The final high school spring band and choir concert will be held in the high school gym at 7:00 p.m. tonight.

 

NHS induction practice is tomorrow morning at 7:15 a.m. in the cafeteria.  All inductees and NHS members must attend.

 

Tuesday, May 13

 

Today is Cap and Gown Day for our Class of 2008.  Graduation practice will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Administrators meet at 10:00 a.m. in the superintendent’s office.

 

Busy Beaver graduation is at 10:30 a.m. in the high school gym.

 

The JV softball team has home games against Poplar at 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. on Lyndale Field.

 

The National Honor Society Academic Honors Social will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the high school multi-purpose room.  All NHS members, inductees and Lions Scholars must attend.  Park in the east parking lot (behind the gym) and come in the double doors.

 

Wednesday, May 14

 

Tonight is family night – activities must cease at 6:00 p.m.

The top 10% of seniors’ grades need to be in Mrs. Gilbertson’s office by noon.

Members of Kiwanis will tour the high school at 12:25 p.m. today.

 

The Eastern “C” Divisional track meet is on Swanson Field all day today.

 

Friday, May 16

Teachers, Pro-grow plans are due today.

 

The JV and varsity softball teams are in Laurel today and tomorrow for the Laurel Round Robin.  The bus leaves this morning at 5:30 a.m.

 

Today is the last day of school for seniors.  The senior failure list is due in the office by 8:00 a.m.  Seniors will be in school today to pay fines and discharge obligations, including your locker.  You checkout forms are due in the office by 1:00 p.m.

 

Teachers, repair and remodeling request lists are due today.  All AV equipment and media must be returned to the library by the end of school today.

 

APC will be using the cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m. for a Risk Tourney.

 


Saturday, May 17

 

The Eastern “A” Divisional track meet is in Miles City today beginning at 9:30 a.m.  The bus leaves at 6:15 a.m.

 

Sunday, May 18

 

Today is graduation for the Class of 2008.  Lineup begins at 1:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
